Chopper Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Frequented Southern California Coast
A chopper hovering near a crowded southern California shoreline suddenly commenced twirling wildly, ultimately dropping height and crashing into a line of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Footage uploaded on the internet capture the helicopter beginning to twirl over the beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palms and a set of stairs near the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Update
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the pavement were injured. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
